claydoh, it is just a reflector in the doors. As for the temp. control lights it is a matter of removing the dash. Then 3 or 4 screws. There is a great video on youtube "remove a 2003 Monte Carlo Dash" . You will see a red Monte. It will show you step by step for your lights. Just be careful. The dash can be weak around the steering wheel. I found one at a you pull it lot for $30. I broke mine by manhandling it. DO NOT DO THAT...lol. Hope this helped, and good luck.
