Default Temp control lights.

My new 03 SS has only 1 thing wrong that I can find, the light for the 2 temperature slide controls is out. Is this replacable, or is it like the dash, and I need to either get a new board, or solder in a LED? Thanks,
John

Default RE: Temp control lights.

Yes, it's a solder in bulb, but is serviceable. There is a guy that replaces these with LEDs.

I have a temp control unit extra from my '01. It has 5 or 6 fixed speeds, and it used a resistor block. It isn't the same unit as in my '04, which has a variable control unit. Not sure if what I have is the same as yours, but it could be for sale.
