Default Climate Control Hissing

I have an '01 Monte SS and recently one of my climate control unit bulbs went out. I took it apart and soldered in a new bulb. Not being familiar with how it came apart, I took apart the vacuum switch which controls the blend doors when I didn't actually have to take it apart. I tried to remember how it went, but as I was taking it apart, six small springs came out. I saw where three of them came from, and put them back with no problems (as well as the small detent *****). But I still have three left that I can't figure out where they belong. I put it all back together to see if anything isn't working, but it all works. But now when I change the settings (mainly to defrost), it hisses loudly. I'm sure it has to do with the springs, but I can't figure out how they go back in. Has anyone else had the switch apart or know where the springs go? It isn't that big of a deal since it works, but I'd still like to have it back together correctly. Thanks in advance.

Andy

ouch!!
WEll take it back apart agian and i belive it was three in front of the switch that were aginst the panel then three in the op of it more then likly you have the ones put back in in the right place but not real sure with out looking at it But your inluck tomarrow i have to tear my dash apart to get it ready to go in to teh dealer so they can repaint it and fix the center counial tha they broke now. So i will see if i can get a phot of it for you so you can see where they go.

The three I have in there I am fairly certain are where they belong. There are three embossed areas that help hold them in the switch as you put it together. They were not between the climate unit and the ****, I know that for sure. I took it back apart to see if I could figure out where they could go, but I couldn't. It isn't that big of a deal, as all of the functions work fine. Just a minor annoyance. Any kind of picture that would help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
