Sorry I didn't mean antifreeze I meant freon or whatever is for the ac. The engine doesn't leak antifreeze anymore since I got my head gaskets replaced.

Then my next thought is theres still air in the system...
Causing it to run hotter than what would be classified as normal...

you may need to bleed the system up to as many as 10 times until you get all the air out...

Does your motor leak any oil in the area of the starter? This could also cause it to not crank/start properly...

But I'm leaning towards battery/ and or connections or both...
I'd start there.

I have a neighbor that has to change his starter every 6 months on his.

How many CCA's is the battery?
Did you buy it new? or from a bone yard? or is it a reconditioned one?

You never did answer the starter questions

It doesn't leak anything on my starter but there is a lot of crap under the engine from the hole in the head gaskets. The battery we bought new it's still under warranty the starten Is re manufactured Also under warranty. But I am at 223000 and the starter hadn't been changed until I replaced it . The alternator is still origina .

I think/believe your reman starter is the issue...
I would make use of the warranty and get another one...

Me personally...
I always purchase new when it comes to batterys/starters/alternators..
Just to be sure I don't have to do the same job twice.

Since your going to have the battery disconnected when you return/exchange the starter...

I would go ahead and have the battery load tested as well.

Be sure to have it tested at least 5 times to be sure its still good.
Ive found the more you test it .. increases the changes of it showing some type of failure... if its defective..
