Default Cai

Hey guys I just put a CAI in my 6th gen wbody 2001 3800 from ZZP It went in easy a little jockying but it went.However my question after looking at it and were it it is there could be some water that is going to get sucked in. K&N makes a cover that is suppose to keep it out has anybody had a issue with this

i havent ever had an issue with water getting in any of my CAIs. it seems to stay pretty dry

I use to have a fwi where the air filter was all the way down to the bottom of the front bumper in front of the tire and never had any issues with water in rain, snow, etc. The ZZP cai should be fine.
