Default busy chime

I have had my 2002 3.8 Monte Carlo for about 3 years now and I've overcame a lot of problems that I have encountered. This new problem though...a little puzzling, I'll try to explain it the best way I can. The chime on my car does what it supposed to do when it comes to notifications when the car is in the correct states i.e. Acc. On and start. The problem im having is that it chimes when the car is off and no key in the ignition. My closest guess would be problems with the radio harness. It doesn't chime when the driver door is open though. Only when the driver door is closed with nothing going on. I figured i would ask to see if anyone else has encountered the same problem and has found a solution.

I am having almost the same exact problem with the chime on my 02ss, I believe it is ignition related but havent really had the time to fully investigate it.
