Broken A/C fan?

Broken A/C fan?
My car keeps making this funny sound, and I think that it might be the A/C fan. It's kind of a sqealing/chirping, almost like a cricket. It makes a quick chirp if I hit a bump going down the highway and sometimes when I make right turns it makes a long chirp the whole way through. And sometimes when it's really cold and my car has been sitting outside for a while, I start it up and The noise is REALLY loud, but then I shut off the fan and the noise stops. Then, sometimes when I turn it back on after that it's fine, but sometimes it takes a couple times turning the fan on/off to get the noise to stop. Anyone else had this problem ever? Do you think I will be able to fix this easily, and if so, how do I get to the fan?

Umm... pretty much have to remove the dash. You might be able to get at some components by just removing the front dash trim.
I would recommend getting a Haynes manual and that will explain it and give you an idea.

Ok, thanks! It shouldnt be too thought then. I've become fairly proficient at removing/installing my dash with my CD player situation. I've had to take it off and test fit my custom-fabbed mounting kit about a half dozen times already not to mention the prototype install kit that I made before that.
