There is a break in period for brakes and if they are not initially seated, there can be some excess noise. A good way to seat the brakes is to drive along at like 20 to 25 mph and lightly press the brake pedal for a few seconds at a time. This mates the pads with the rotors.

If you have put racing type pads on they act a lot differently than your normal set of pads. Meaning, racing or ceramic type pads are meant to take larger amounts of heat and not succumb to brake fade. These types of pads tend to be more dense and do not work as well until they are heated up.

So I should just deal with the squeel? To have good brakes?

My other suggestion to you would be to take the pads off and make sure there is no build up of dust or other road crap where the brakes pads sit in the caliper. Then put some anti-squeek lube on the pads where they actually set into the caliper. I know you said you put the anti-squeek stuff on the pads but where exactly did you apply it?
