Default Brake Pad Replacement Problem .... Ooops!

I was changing out my brake pads yesterday and while depressing the piston, I forgot to remove the cap on the reservoir to release the pressure. Unfortunately, as I was depressing the piston, I heard a pop and saw fluid draining down onto the driveway. When I looked under the hood, there was a fluid leak between where the master cylinder and power booster connect. Any ideas what I might have gotten myself into here? I'm hoping its just a master cylinder replacement as I am not certain what to do with a power booster!

Update: I removed the master cylinder and pressed in on the piston(?? Not sure what it is actually called) and brake fluid shot out of the farthest hole (opposite side of master cylinder where the power booster connects). I am assuming fluid should come out of both holes?
