Default Best all around Headers?

Hello...In your profess **** or backyard opinion, what is the BEST overall header for the L36 3800 NA engine? best fitting? easiest install?... Ive been getting more n more against the idea of the Top Swap on my motor,it absolutly runs perfect, not one drop of oil leaks, engine is dry as a bone on the outside, nice n clean. so I just want it to sound Awesome and a Lil extra horsies... I have a Magna Flow High flow Cat, with the 304 stainless downpipe, no ubend. I also WON a set of Muffler's , they are Flowmaster Hushpower street HP2 Pro series. also, i am still using the resonator, Ive heard from others its just best to leave it in... is that correct when adding headers? or should i remove it when the headers go on? any info would be great, very helpful and very much appreceated... thanks a ton... Michael...

PS: I also want to change my Plugs and wires, new filter(fuel) any ideas here as well... thanks.. (best plugs / wires etc...

Headers on an NA not worth it IMO. You lose some downlow torque. You already have the downpipe, just throw a front powerlog on it and call it a day.

If you want the power, you can always turbo that engine (and the front powerlog works well with turbo applications)

The main thing with headers on an NA 3800 is that you want to make sure that you run 1 5/8" primaries. The normal 1 3/4" primaries are a little big for NA 3800's. I was able to knock off about a quarter second from my 1/4 mile time with headers when I was NA. They are worth it, but you will lose a little bit of low end torque.

You would obviously want headers under boost so that you can kill the KR when you are running a smaller pulley. Any set of eBay headers that are pacesetter knockoffs should do fine.

I would go out on a limb and say that Speed Daddy's are the way to go.
