Who makes the best headers for the 3800 SC now?
I've got the L67 setup for engine...
Well I was looking to get the headers for my car from S&S, but now it seems that they have folded shop and closed up in AZ.
Who else has good performance and good price now?
I know of the Pacesetters, ZZPs, TOGs (from 3800 performance) and the SLP (and their knockoffs)
whose is better?
I am not too concerned about ceramic coatings yet, as I will go with Jet-Hot Extreme silver coating, but I'd like to know who is now considered the top header maker for the 3800 supercharged.
Thanks

Pacesetters: I'd avoid these. They're known as "Pacesh1tters" for a reason.
TOGs: Really the best header available, but you'll pay alot for them.
ZZP: Known fitment issues (front fans, firewall), don't like that the O2 sensor only reads from one bank with these.
SLP: Not bad, but a bit overpriced. You'll need to replace the flex piece immediately with these.
SLP knockoffs (Speed Daddy): What I'm using- exact same thing as SLPs, 1/3 the price.
Personally, I'd grab a set of Speed Daddy headers from eBay, but 4 Accu-Seal clamps for ~$30, and a ZZP flex piece for $20. Have the new flex welded on, install them, and enjoy an awesome set of headers for well under $300. Oh wait...that's what I did.
You may have fitment issues with your front cooling fans- not sure if the assembly is the same on my L36 Monte as compared to your L67 Monte. You'll want to measure the width of the fan assembly. If it's over 4" wide, you'll probably have issues with any of the currently available headers and will need to replace your cooling fans with universal slimline pieces.
Throw some 1.9 ratio rockers in it while you're at it, pulley down to a 3.4, and you'll have a real nice sleeper on your hands.

are the Speed Daddy headers only for supercharged applications?
If you're asking if they're designed for supercharged cars, then yes. They are just a copy of the SLP design. You can use them on an n/a car, but I wouldn't expect to see any gains from them (or any set of headers for that matter).
No. The manifolds are the same on both the supercharged and n/a cars, so the headers will bolt right up.

The second part of your post is just ridiculous. I'm not even going to get into it. But you're sooooooooooooo wrong.

They will fit on an L36 (n/a 3800) Monte Carlo, with some finessing. They won't be a direct bolt-on.
Honestly, the new Pacesetters are decent headers. They have resolved the issue they had (sealing due to different size piping expansion)- and added 1 5/8" headers (they already sold 1 3/4"). There is a guy locally to me who works there, and multiple people on the local forum that run them without issues.
S&S only had 1.5" primaries (IIRC, I don't think they ever made any bigger) and were really designed more for NA 3800's.
I will agree though that the SSAC, DPP, whatever SLP knockoff brands are the best buy right now. They're almost the cheapest option- and they have few issues.
I'm not sure what the deal is with TOG. When I was talking to PRJ, I also got to talking with JonBob (the guy with the 500+ whp whipple GP)- and he was trying to get me in on a group buy for some TOG Xtremes. I'm not sure if they're planning to re-release their line again, or what is going on- its been about 6 months since I talked to him. But I notice that sometimes talking about his car, he refers to it as the PRJ/TOG car- so I'm thinking TOG may be sponsoring his build in part?

Sadly they don't make TOG's anymore IIRC.
i have pacesetter (1 3/4") been in the car the last 3 years, but if i ever buy another headers again i would do slp or zzp. i don't like the down pipe design on the pacesetter specially if your car is lowered. the down pipe will hit on the power steering line.
