Hi everyone, I am new to the site and needs some help please. I am having trouble with my beautiful 06 SS. From what I read on the forum it is very possible that my troubles have to do with the Body Control Module and TSB# 06-06-03-006. What I need to find out is how do I get a hold of this bullentin? I need to contact the dealer rep asap. Can anyone help me? Thanks for your time and help. I want to prepared when I go to the dealer.

 

 

Well I'm back from the dealer. I dropped my ss off on Saturday so that it wouldn't start for them on Monday. The service advisor called me up to tell me my battery was dead this morning (you think?). After replacing the battery, the dealer said he need to check the tire monitoring system (code came up) and it could cost me $400.00 replace the sensors. The Brake system code also came up. After the 3rd phone call and all they could find was the dead battery I asked them to reflash my BCM as TSB suggested. I picked up my SS today ($300.00 bill). I called GM and asked them to get me in touch with the dealer rep for my area. GM will hopefully contact me in a day or two. If they will pick up half the cost I will be happy. It is sad that I had to pay for the reflash when there is aTSB out for my problem. Thanks and good luck to all 06 ss owners.
