Default anything I should replace when I do the IMG replacement?

I'm going to replace the U&LIMG soon. Is there anything that's going to be remived that should be replaced now? I have already done the coolant elbows. Plugs, wires, valve cover gaskets, water pump? 2002 3.8L 46K. Thanks

I'm on series III 3800 so I have an aluminum plenum now, but I thought those plastic ones could develop problems at the EGR. So I'd say keep an eye on that/replace if needed.

Care about modifying the car?

It's a good time to remove the runners and add the HV3 insert, as well as swap the rockers out for something else.

for how cheap the coolant elbows are i would replace them again. there is a risk of damaging them when removing.

The U&LIM gaskets finally got replaced. I feel pretty good about it because after looking at the old gaskets, the lower one was starting to leak. The throttle body was cleaned out and I get more power as a result. In addition, replacing the coolant level sensor (again) got rid of the low coolant level indication. The oil pressure is up a little and the temperature is down a bit. All-in-all a success.
