Default Any guide for replacing the lights for lock/window switches?

Hey folks.

Does anyone know how to open the door lock or windows switches to replace the bulb inside? One of mine has burned out and I'd like to replace the bulb rather than the entire switch. I can get it out of the car easily enough but can't work out how to open the thing up.

I want to say they have tiny, tiny tabs you can gently separate and pull the backing off (don't quote me though).

But from what I have seen, the bulbs are soldered into the unit. Keep that in mind before going forward. Also, may be a good time to consider swapping to LED (I believe you need to put a resistor inline with the LED to do that).

I guess worst case scenario, I break one.

In the past month I had the lock switch light on the passengers side go, the bulb for the driver side hvac, and only 2 days after getting the odometer replaced the lights for 0-40 have gone dark. I should have sent everything to BB Engineering to led swap when the dash was sent in to fix the odometer. Oh well at least I get to brush up on the soldering skills.
