Default Setting Tranny Range Selector Cable

I'm trying to set the kick-down . It's obviously different than putting the accelerator all the way down then locking it in. I'm looking at the FSM but it's not real clear. We're working on a 2000 Monte Carlo SS with a 3.8. any clues??

Default

The kickdown is in the computer which works off the TPS(Throttle Position Sensor).. The wider open the throttle, the higher the voltage on the tps and that causes the computer to look into it's tables and see if it should kickdown or not....sorry there are no adjustments without a programmer.
