its not too hard to take off or replace airbags. or atleast the steering wheel one, the passenger is due to being hidden in the dash. they are more than likely not the same due to steering wheel design.

to take off you should unplug the fuse for airbags, so the SRS system is disactivated, however you could still take them off by not doing this im NOT recommending you to skip it.
then wait ten minutes for the system power to fully drain.
take off the screws to the back of the steering wheel.
needed is a special tool, or a meduim flat head screw driver is just the same. insert into the holes in the back of the steering wheel, and there is a little metal pin you have to move. put the screw driver in there and twist it, may take some time to get used to it but you will find it. once both clips are popped, take the airbag off and push an and twist the clip for the horn to take it off. have the steering wheel strait and unplug the clockspring. once everything is uncliped and its off. just reverse the steps to put it back on. should snap into place

you don't want to take off the screws trust me it's a pain in the *** to put back in. the screws are not what's holding the airbag. there's an empty hole (without screw) next to the screw that lucian*91 talking about, that's the hole you want to stick a screw driver in and twist left.

what's holding the airbag is a thin size wire clip in each of the 3 holes. when you twist the screw driver in the hole the clip release the coil like spring attach to the airbag.

when you get to the last hole make sure you hold on the airbag cuz it will drop straight out. if you don't catch it when it drop the airbag harness and horn wire might rip off then you going to have some problem. the airbag weight a pound or few just letting you know. after it is off the yellow harness is for the airbag that should be pull right off from the steering wheel and the red thin wire is for the horn. push it in and twist to the right.
