I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with aftermarket remote start causing (SES) Services Engine Soon light come on.

 

Not me! I've got astrostart and I haven't had any SES lights come on. Try going to an auto parts store that will scan your PCM for FREE, don't let them charge you. The bring back the code to see what's up.

 

Nope, I got mine on my alarm system and works great. I would pick up an OBD2 scanner at Walmart for $100 and get it scanned. Throw the code up here and we can help.

 

did you wire it yourself??? i know car starters are confuzing and maybe you spliced into the wrong wire somewhere, or you have a stripped wire somewhere in there thats setting off a code. because i've never heard of this before.

i've heard of people trying to wire them and accidently setting their air bags off cuz they go into the wrong wire ....oops!! lol
