Default The acceleration kick?

Does anyone notice that when coming off a quick stop the engine seems to kick. Is there any way to fix, or reduce this kick? It kinda seems like theres a delay in the transmission or something. I thought it was just my car, but my buddys 01 SS does the same thing. both cars have the 3800 V6, non supercharged.

Default RE: The acceleration kick?

Hey LT, I am having the same problem. If you look under my 04 coolant issue thread you can see some other people are having the same problem. I took mine in and the hooked it up to the computer and said there were no codes in the computer. They said if it keeps happening to take it back in and leave it for a few days.
one more thing check our coolant for any brown slug in the tank, the dealership said that GM let the dealerships know that there is a problem with the coolant.
