Need advice on removing compressor from 01 ss . Can the clutch pulley ***. be replaced without removing compressor? THANKS

 

It would be easier to just remove the compressor. Why not spend the extra few bucks a put a complete reman unit on?

 

Three nuts hold it to the bracket on the front. Then you have two options for rear bracket removal. You can remove the two bolts holding the bracket to the block, or the two holding the bracket to the compressor. Then the two lines that hook to the back of it and boom cake walk.
