Default Abs traction problem

2002 Monte Carlo SS 3.8. All my dash lights on for ABS, TRACTION CONTROL and Service Traction Control. I have already replaced both front wheel hubs. The problem stopped for about a week (no warning lights on the dash) Then they all came back on. I was pulling out of the driveway in reverse and turned the wheel and BAM. All the service ABS lights and message center came back on. PLUS it does the weird brake pedal Traction noise that is DANGEROUS in my opinion. You have no control over the car when that happens. I know there are many forums about this but I never saw a definite answer on the fix for this. I know for a fact it is not the wheel hubs. Could it be just the abs wire going to the hubs, or maybe the control module ? Also, can I just find the relay and disconnect the entire ABS system. That would be ideal for my situation. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Replaced my front hub several months ago. Still had traction and abs lights. Mechanic said the abs module was clogged up and needed to get cleaned. Now all is well. Did you wait to get this fixed? we waited two years before replacing the hub. Probably contributed to the abs module situation.

Several people also suggest cleaning and greasing the abs plugs at the hub.

Maybe get it scanned.

Also did you buy oem quality parts? I went with moogs I believe.

You could also test the connectors at both ends not just the hub end. I had a brand new maf installed but cotinued to act up. Connector itself was shot.

I had the same thing happen on my 04 it was the wire from your sensor(mine was on the right side) rub the frame or shock tower in reverse and it would set it off had it tested and replaced that section of wire and (knock on wood) not a problem since hope this helps
