I bought a 99 monte carlo theft recovery. They pretty much stripped the whole car. I replaced the motor and trans with the computer from a donor car. They broke the steering column and messed up the ignition switch. I am going to replace the whole steering column from another car. Does anyone know what I would also need so it will start, because of the vats system ?

 

If you can, get the "WHOLE" steering column system... Including the wiring harness. You can have the ignition either rekeyed or use your old ignition.
