Default 98 Monte Air Cond

Well, I have a 1998 Monte Carlo and now that it is getting hot out I decided to use my Air Conditioner...it is only blowing hot air, so I said screw it. Well the other day I was driving and felt this freezing air, the air was working, and now it is not again. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong?

Odd, I would guess at some kind of sensor, but have no idea what. I never use air conditioning. Ialso always have a tan left arm....

duracool makes a really good kit with 2 cans of r134a and a hose to put it in...works really well and its a good price...most likely this is what you need...either that or your compressor is on its way out which does happen on a car thats 10 years old
