Default 96' rear wheel (suspension? hub?)

Hello all. my monte is still running like a champ. Despite my crazy cheating Ex slamming her ****ty aztek into my rear Q-panel. Other wise I do have a question. My driverside rear wheel has some east-west play in it. (The psyco hit the other side so it not from that and it had been doing it before our "accident") I can pull on the top of the tire and it pulls out an inch or 2 and makes a clunking sound. When I look under it and someone pulls it the whole thing moves...as in the drum, and please excuse my lack of total knowledge but..the bottom of the strut and stabilizer links/bars?,...well where it all comes together behind the hub, it all moves with the tire. I havent found any loose nuts. So I raised the back end up off the ground and then it doesnt pull out or have any play in it. It also produces a clunking sound from back there when I hit a bump. Yes the lugs are tight...any help appreciated.

Either a strut issue with the clunking going over bumps, check the wheel bearing bolts

Sounds like you need a new strut. Get that fixed asap.

Make sure you mark where the tie rods are (or count how many turns it takes to get them off) otherwise your car will pull to one side like a chump
