95 Monte-no maf sensor?

So the 3100 was used in years with a MAF and without. In theory, you should be able to move the motors between those cars without issue. The MAF comes into play based on the computer controlling the motor. As sparpeezss mentioned, without a MAF, the car should be running in "Speed Density" mode.
Unfortunately, I don't know enough about the '95 Monte, but if it's like the '95 Grand Am, it pre-dated the need for a MAF and was not a true ODBII (I believe was ODB-I).
