Default (4) screws holding blower motor anyone else has this issue?

Everywhere I look for a replacement blower motor it has 3 mounting bolts. Mine has 4 and one of the bolts isn't even accessible from the bottom it's screwed on from the top so I gotta figure out how to get that one off if I have to take off the dashboard or the cowl area by the wipers. Anyone one ever suffered from this? Even dealer is clueless and no you can't mount a traditional 3 bolt blower back in there. Also mine has 3 pin connector all others have only 2, resistor is the same as all other montes though! This is the original blower motor since I bought the car new in august 2002.

Ok so I got the blower motor out, the resistance on it and the resistor are good, the switch works by this I know when I press the AC botton it engages the AC and the AC pulley starts to rotate, I tried a new resistor and blower motor (new AC Delco/Delphi) parts and the problem persist. The vents won't blow any air and I checked the fuses and relays both working, I checked the power up to the connectors I'm reciving 12.4 volts there. So anyone know what else could be the problem? I'm lost here.

Bad Ground? Vacuum leak to control head? Bad actuator? Could be a lot of things. Have you tried the blower motor wired straight to the battery to see if it powers up? If you can see it, get the OE number off the motor. Any reliable parts store should be able to cross reference the number and get you a 4 bolt/3 pin motor. As far as the top bolt, depending on space you might be able to get at it with a swivel/ratcheting box end or combination wrench.

You say you don't get any air, but you don't say if the motor works. I would pull the covers from under the windshield wiper motors, remove the fresh air filter, and look to see if the motor fan spins.
