Hello, I have to ask 3 questions

- when you say " it points striaght at the number one cylinder when it at tdc"
Is this on the intake stroke or the exhaust?
- The carb did it get turned upside down between vehicles?
- How old is the fuel you are feeding it?

another thing you may want to check is the fuel pump hose that is inside the tank...check to make sure that this hose hasn't collapsed...i have had this happen quite a few times once i found out that the fuel pump wasn't pumping any fuel
