Does not appear to be exhaust, but a rattle possibly a plastic piece? I am sure the dealer would not be able to locate it. Anyone else notice this? Engine is a 3.5. Does not do it in Park It is coming from under the hood. I can hear it from inside better than outside.

 

check to make sur ethe engin cover is in the right place and secured. if this is not it then start checking anythign that comes close to the fire wall. and have some one hold it in gear while you look under it and see if you can find it this way. good luck let us know what ya find

 

it is the heat shield for the gas tank were the exhaust pipe bends around it

 

It does not sound metallic and appears to come from the engine compartment, so I don't that it is a heat shield from rear of the car. I checked the plastic engine cover and that wasn't it. I get a similar plastic noise on the drivers side front wheel well when I close the driver's door. It does not seem to be the plastic wheel well cover, but it seems to be coming from beneath the airbox.

 

maybe there's a spare part droped down inside thereor maybe one of your headlight clips rattled off

 

Had the car in about 3 weeks ago for a Power Steering hose leak in which there is a TSB on it. Now I have a metallic chatter/rattle when turning the wheelboth left or rightat low or no speed, such as in a parking space. Does not occur at all times, but the car is going back to the Dealer. I am shocked with 3200 miles. I had less initial problems with my 1996 Beretta 3.1 when I bought it new in June of 96.
