So, pretty much every time I pull out of my driveway or a parking spot as I turn and start to accelerate my traction control activates, and occasionally the service traction system warning comes on as well as the traction off and ABS light. I have also noticed a slight rubbing type sound from the front wheels when I turn left, not sure if the two problems are connected. I'm not really sure what the problem could be, any ideas would be appreciated.

 

The most common cause for the traction off/abs light combo is bad wiring to one of the abs sensors or a worn wheel hub. The abs sensor is an integral part of the hub, and as the bearing wears it skews the signal from the sensor which triggers the lights. If you have the stored/pending codes scanned it will let you know which hub is bad.
