Default 2004 SS Brake Rotors

Hi
I have an 04 SS with 5183 miles. I have noticed that the rear brakes, grooves are being etched into the rotors. I called the dealership and they said that the problem may be rust which has happened on other chevy's but not so much with MC's. They said that can look at it, but I am afraid that this may not be covered under warrenty. This is just the latest problem to happen with my car in such a short time.

Any thoughts, please let me know.

Thanks!

Our factory rotors are crappy. You are going to want to upgade to slotted/cross drilled anyway later down the road. But, since it's under warranty I would run it in.

I would suspect at only 5K it would be covered.
