I cannot find any youtube video or info on the removal of the weather stripping on the 2000-2005 monte carlo anywhere. its on the door itself and starts at the side mirror and runs up the window frame and stop and the top byt the b-pillar. can someone help explain how to remove this? thank you.

 

I did this to my 2004 last year and there is a write up on the forum somewhere so do a search for that. Basically you have to take off the inner door panel, the trim piece inside the window and the mirror, then drill out several rivets that hold the weatherstrip to the door. Putting the new one in requires a pop riveter and attaching the piece to the door with rivets, then putting it all back together. Not bad if you have the right size drill and rivets, took me less than an hour.
