2002 monte carlo ss, no crank
I have a 2002 monte carlo ss. 180,000 miles. The car had been running well, aside for warning lites. service traction control, high beam out, service soon. I went start it and nothing! but the little warning lite. said service soon. went btw.yellow and red. I tried bypassing the crank solenoid and and the engine turned over but didn't start. I has the key in start position. All my fuses up front ( both boxes) tested good? now for the fuses in the car. left side, 7 fuses had no power. ( key in run pos.) the fuses were, (WSW, BCM, SRS, TURN SIGNAL, A/C FAN, STR COL AND PCM CRANK) THE right side fuse box, had 6 fuses, no power? They are, (HVAC BLO, HTD MIR, REAR PRK LP, FRT PARK LP, TRK/ROOF BRP, AND I/P BRP). Can anyone tell were the HOT comes into the car? I'm thinking of maybe running jumper but I'm not sure Napa has enough WIRE!! Oh, battery was 12.7, plenty of power! A jump didn't help. Thanks!

First place to check is the fuseable link coming off the starter on the 2 wires that are attached to the positive battery cable.. Your going to have to probe the wires up a few inches above the link and check for power. Good luck
