2002 Idle fluctuating

try cleaning the IAC motor its probably trying to centre itself and has a good layer of crud on it. take the MAF sensor out anyway for this and remove the little motor on the firewall side of the throttle body. i'm posting a pic in this post of the IAC motor. this time of the year its more likely to act up i'm not sure why but i've cleaned out 4 of these in the past 2 weeks on various gm's for the same problem.

But it's throwing a MAF code, why would the IAC affect anything??

MAF codes can be set from near stall conditions or a blocked TB. I know it's very deceptive but it can and does happen. That doesn't mean that the MAF isn't dirty also
