I guess you would say the car dies for a split second if you are quick enough you can see all the guages go to the off position

 

Just an idea(s): Check the battery connections, Get the battery and the alternator tested. This actually happened to my dad in his Tahoe very similar symptoms. He ended up just having to clean off the terminals and clean the battery and it has not happened since.

 

when thi happens it is like i loose power all the guages go to the left

problem solved found out to be my crank positioning sensor
