Default 2001 Monte Carlo no start

My son has an `01 Monte and it has a no start issue.
First of all the car has been sitting for about 6 weeks since he is now leasing a new vehicle. I have been starting it several times a week until this week when the battery died. my charger wouldnt charge it so I took it to Auto Zone and they put it on their charger and charged and tested it. Battery showed as good so I reinstalled it and it is holding a charge but now the car wont turn over. No clicking grinding, nothing except the dash light\s coming on as they would in a normal start situation. I cycled the passlock/pass key and moved the gear selector to neutral to see if I could jar the Neutral control switch and stll nothing. my next thought is the starter. What are your thoughts??

Sounds like a starter but it Could be a bad connection to your battery

Greetings,
You can test your starter by locating the crank relay and jumping it using a small piece of wire or even a paper clip.
From the bottom left pin to the top right and if it cranks over then it is not the starter and that means you have a pass lock security issue.
