Hi I am new to the group and hope this post is in the right forum


My son has a 2001 Monty LS 3.4 ( I have Chevelles )


He had a dead battery I did the normal Alt check 14.45 V DC under load
and the Battery had 12.65 V DC after a re-charge.


Did the VOM amp on the ground and had a discharge of 1.62 Amp DC
WOW Now started pulling fused one at a time first under hood... then Drivers side fuse panel The 10A CLSTR/BCM had a .79 amp reduction
then the LHHTDST/ BCM pulled dropped the load to .04 Milliamps load
so either BCM circuits have about .8 amp draw ??
checked trunk,glove box ect lights all ok ?


everything seems to work OK..... the radio go's in and out !


any direction ? to look..... I se you can buy a BCM but not sure if that's a cure ?
