2000 Monte Carlo, Headlight trouble...
I have a 2000 Monte Carlo, and the headlights will not come on, the daytime lights will not come on, but if you hold the turn signal towards you the high beams are on. any idea what it could be? I was thinking maybe the relays, because when you turn the headlight switch on, it still makes the ding noise like the lights are on, and the switch in the column is still clicking good so it does not seem to be worn out...anyways, any input would certainly be helpful. thank you..

I've had this happen to me one time. I switched on the high beam and thought I had switched them off.
Try to pull the turn signal all the way towards you to make sure you're not stuck 'in between' high and low beams.
Mine was kind of set in between and the headlights would not come on until I tried to switch them back to either high or low beams.

I have tried that, but still no luck, Im thinking it might be the headlight switch, because before it went totally out for a few days they would flicker, or would not come on unless you jiggled it a bit. But then again I thought when the switch went out, it wouldn't be able to register to the car that the lights are ON. But it does, because the dinger inside the car starts up when you pull the switch...thanks for the input though. Really appreciate it...Any other Ideas would also be helpful as well.
