Are you 100% it's a leak in the rad?

Your drain plug is on the driver's side towards the engine and near the bottom of the radiator. There's also a piece of rubber that could just be deteriorating

What piece of rubber? the leak is on the bottom drivers side of the rad.. do the drain plugs have a seal that goes bad on them?

The drain plug does have a seal that COULD go bad, that's why I think you should check it out before you replace the whole radiator.

Glad I could save you the trouble of replacing the whole radiator!
