Default 2 Questions about my 2002 Monte Carlo SS

I need some advice about 2 issues I'm having...The first issue is my fog lights...Does anyone know if the fog lights have a fuse or just a circuit breaker? Where is the fuse located because i cant find one either in the car on both sides of the dash or in the 2 plastic boxes in the engine compartment..there is only a fog light relay in there. I had my BCM replaced a while back so im wondering if it didnt have the fog lights programmed back in? The second issue I'm having is that when i make either a right or left hand turn...my traction control light comes on while turning even though the tires arent spinning or losing traction. Thanks for any advice of these 2 issues!

You most likely are having an issue with the connection to the wheel hub assemblies and the car is thinking that one tire isn't spinning like the rest of them. That kicks the traction control on but doesn't do anything.

The fog lights, I'm not sure. Did you have the relay tested? The BCM could be the issue since it does control the fogs though.

Thanks ChibiBlackSheep for your advise...The relay for the foglights is good but they arent turning on and the green light on the fog light button isnt illuminating green like it used too...I was thinking maybe a fuse was blown since all connections are good and the foglight bulbs are new but i had the BCM replaced a while back and didnt bother to check the fog lights until i wanted to use them and they didnt turn on. I will check to see about the traction control light....it isnt a big issue but just wondering why the light comes when i turn and nothing is slipping..Do you think it will acually work when it the wheels do slip?

did the foglights just stop working or did they stop right after the BCM work?

If it stopped after the BCM work, then I would go back and let them know what happened, sounds like an error in the programming to me

As long as the Trac OFF light isn't staying illuminated they will work properly. But the connections are probably dirty or got water into them causing the fake readings.

Thanks for the input guys.....went to the dealer today...replaced the BCM again and the fog lights are now working! Also, needed to replace the drivers side hub and a new cable assembly so now i dont have the service traction system and no ABS light anymore while turning but it cost me $675 with labor! Expensive job with dealer labor at $115 an hour....took mechanic 3 hours to fix it along with almost $400 in parts with hub and cable but seems to be good now...learning not to buy GM anymore!
