1 mile from home and this happens
november 1 08. yes and i knew of a few minor issues whitch were quickly addressed. i dont know if im the only one with these problems but am just dissapointed. the car is 3 years, 30,000 miles young, correct me if im wrong but i should be thinking about scheduled matainance, not all this.
funny thing was that i could have got an white 04 ss S/C monte for the same price and opted for the Black, last production year instead and now am regreting it. ive had gm cars since the begining 89 riviara, 97 lumina, and now the monte. ive never had a car give me this much trouble, but then again my other cars had over 150k when i got them. seemed more solid too.

srry bout all the negative nelly stuff that i wrote, i was just a lil ticked the other day. so i did some research and found that theres a common problem witht the connectors on the wires. so i took off the wheels pulled apart the connectors, spayed um with db electrical cleaner, and used some connector protector grease. put it all back together and unhooked the battery for 20 min. anyways the next time i drove the lights stayed off and everything seems to function as it should.
i think a lot of us 06-07 monte owners got lemons. my car is having problem after problem(luckily i had the money at the time). i wish i would of opted for that extended warranty when signing those papers! good luck with your problem that hopefully wont cost you an arm and leg.
