ok I think I posted in the wrong spot the last time.

my body control module went out again. it came up with two codes on the dash service air bag system and alt over charge. when it was at the shop I work at another tech and I went over it and could not find any thing wrong other that a connecter to that sensor under the passenger seat that I replaced was cut. fixed it and could not find any thing wrong with the electrical. could it be the bcm again.
the first time it went out it had the same type of messages before. service air bag alt over charge check security system

when I took a look at the bcm it smelled like some thing in side it wanted to cook.

I checked the connectors that hook to it and also followed them back as well every thing is ok.

I am stumped on why it went out like it did
