07 Imp SS code reads "High Oil Pressure"

07 Imp SS code reads "High Oil Pressure"

Is it just the sensor failing or could it be the pump? Just figured i'd ask some members before going out and hooking up a gauge. Scanner sees P0523.

my 2000 ss monte is currently doing that, it is the oil sensor

Don't forget the little filter screen below the sensor...
