My car doesn’t always start up on the first turn of the key. Sometimes it takes 3-4 times to get it to crank. Every once in awhile I’ll have to put the car in drive and then back into park and then it will start. The lady I bought the car from told me her mechanic said it was a wiring issue and not the ignition switch.
When this problem occurs i have power but nothing happens when I turn the key. No cranking noise nothing.
I'm thinking I just need to suck it up and put a new ignition switch in.
