Exactly what I ended up doing. The factory lug wrench actually worked perfectly, it's short and strong. I did have to have a friend jimmy it over the last pulley (I routed belt everywhere else and left water pump pulley for last.)

I really could not see ANY way that damn tool could get that tensioner down as far as I had to pry the damn thing!

I also found a handy photo of the serpentine drive system, they are all over the internet.

My issues turned out to be a combo of bad ground lead to the battery, bad alternator, and it took out my battery. And I just replaced the belt while I was doing the alternator. I did luck out on the battery, Autozone replaced under warranty because I found my receipt with the old cell phone number it was under. Phew.

Baby purrs like a kitten again!
