Default 05 Monte Carlo ss supercharged stalls

New to group.... I recently purchased my MC and after owning it for a few weeks it occasionally started to stall while driving and sometimes while coming to a stop. It will restart after waiting 10-20 minutes, then seems to be fine. This has been happening once or twice a week at first, now seems like every other day. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time!

Default 00 Monte Carlo same problem

I am also new to the group. Joined to try to solve my problem.. 2000 MC stalled out last week. had it towed to mechanic. Replaced wires, plugs, fuel filter, and fuel pump. Started up fine and thought everything was fixed but stalled out when mechanic tried to bring it up his incline driveway.

any ideas?? 110000miles

Kind of hard to say on both of the problems, but some more info like any check engine lights? Loping idle (RPMs bouncing around like it's trying to die)? Happens when hot or cold? Happens with quick gas pedal movement? ETC...

To throw out some suggestions for Tattoobob: First and foremost if it won't start after if dies, then it sounds like a fuel delivery problem, bad pump/clogged fuel filter.
For general stalling, vacuum leaks would usually throw a check engine light and would result in an idle that lopes, a sticking idle air control valve will make the idle kind of jump from low to high then stabilize, and the mass airflow sensor can be unplugged to test for failure/being dirty.

Default Found prob

After changing plugs, wires, fuel filter and pump. Found that changing the MAP sensor worked. Back to running great. Now have to get rid of the shimmy.
