Wow that is so messed up it's not funny. How the heck could you "reasonably" find these kinds of issues and why would they happen. We need better quality control in these cars.

Huh, well, I dont think I have ever kept my key fob close, and the garage door does not have an opener on it. Right now it is at the dealership, and they are looking at it. He said all day it has consistantly been pulling only 38milliamps, and he had a chart on battery life corresponding to that. And according to it, my battery should last about twenty days with that pull on it. I dont know. 1stz51 said that reprogram or reflash. Maybe I'll mention that to them, and they'll try that. Anything to get this to stop. I miss my baby!!!!!!!!!!

THis actually came about because the problem was pretty wide spread on the 05 vettes
that it came out as a sevice bulletin.Hopefully GM finds something cause it does stink when
you pay that much for a vehicle to sit dead in your garage or the dealer.Besides this problem
how do you like it. My dad has an 07(I think). he loves it.

Oh, well, I told my the dealer today about it. The guy I have been talking to knows my boss, so today they went ahead and reprogrammed it today, and put all the updates on it for free, I get tomorrow!!! Like I said befor I miss my baby. Other then the frustration of exactly what you said 1stz51, "paying that much for a vehicle to sit dead in your garage or the dealer", I have loved the car. Very nice, spacious, handles great, and quick. I used to have a tricked out for ranger, lowered, system, roll pan, nice paint, wheels, the works, and i never got as many compliments on it as I have my monte.

haha. Yeh these cars just say bad *** I guess. Well, I got my baby back yesterday, (thursday). I had connections, so they checked the currenty and it still had a small draw. Because of what you guys said, my car got the computer reprogrammed and all the updates put on it. When I got it I also immediatley took the battery out and had it replaced. So we shall see what happens. I am just so happy I got my baby back.
