Default 04 Headlight Dimmer Problem

I have been having a problem recently with brightening and dimming my headlights on my Intimidator. Sometimes when I try to brighten the lights, they will go out completely for about a second, then come back on bright. Other times I have to pull the lever three or more times to get the lights to brighten or dim. Any ideas? I think it is probably the multi-function lever itself. Has anyone ever replaced this, and if so, how much did it cost?

You too??? It's TOO expensive. I've learned to pull firmly to activate it, just a tap doesn't work like it used to.
If someone can find a multi-function switch cheap, let us know.

You should check ebay.

That one should work.
Check Morad, they have an ebay store too.

I went to a pick'n pull type junk yard, took one off an impala (never once have i seen a Monte in here, must say something about our cars eh?)

and replaced it... its a bit of a pain in the ***

If you go the dealer route, get a jar of vasaline.. yours gonna need it...

I paid 15$ for mine, took me maybe 30mins to remove it (wasnt being carefull, broke the plastic parts) and maybe 45 to replace mine (obviously didnt want to break anything at this point)
