GM Nationals 2013
http://www.carlisleevents.com/events/gm-nationals/
This is for the 2013 GM Nationals (running June 21 - June 23, 2013).
For those wondering, here is what is involved in Pre-Registering (this is taken from their site):
Register a vehicle for the 2013 GM Nationals Showfield. To qualify for the 10% Gate-N-Go pre-registration discount and have your entry window sticker mailed to you, please pre-register prior to May 20th, 2013 at midnight EST. Discount is applied at checkout. Registration includes weekend admission for two people. After registering, a receipt will be emailed to you - please bring this receipt to the event. If you belong to a club, enter the full club name. Please do not abbreviate the club name.
FYI - I had issues pre-registering and there is no one available to help over the phone. I solved my own problem. For whatever reason, they did not like my Discover card. So, I pulled out the MasterCard and it took it.
Hope to see other people there
Next, I need to book my hotel
List of People Going:

Devin (MnteCrloSS47)
Jen (Red Nightmare)

This is my second year going. Last year we stayed at the Hotel Carlisle, www.HotelCarlisle.com. My wife found it via Kayak (as we were late in the game looking for a room).
Here's what it had going for it:
- 4 miles from the event
- Reasonably priced (for it's location to the event, it's probably considered pretty cheap)
- Nice and WARM indoor pool (was great to use in the evenings)
Here's what it did not have going for it:
- No free breakfast
- Room appearance is a little dated
Considering our time was not spent looking over the room, we're fine with it (we really like how close it is to the event). My wife just called today for pricing and I believe they said it's about $112 a night.

OH go ahead, rub it in there Mr. Local
I just hope you put a ride on the show field this year
This year we're planning to drive in on Thursday so we can also enjoy the event starting on Friday, day #1.
And this time, my brother-in-law is coming with his '06 Caddy STS-V and my other friend is deciding on which Firebird.... White or red (or more appropriately put, can the white one get properly tuned in time).

The wife booked our hotel room at the Hotel Carlisle! So we're all locked in for this one! YIPPIE!! So now all the planning is done, nothing more to do.
I'm really hoping he can bring the TTA! I forgot, not just does it need tuned, he still needs to get the subframe connectors on (with the expected potential power that thing should not put out, I don't think anyone would want to romp on it until it has those connectors).
