2014 GM Nationals - Carlisle, PA
#31
I posted pics last year after everyone left saturday night my local car group actually drove onto the stage and it made for some amazing pics! Just throwing out ideas for you all
I really want to make it but I don't think it's gonna happen. My chances are still at 1% but I'm trying my best! Worse case I may come to hang out and not have a car to show is all.

Nope! You can sign up now online and just have to get the sticker at carlisle, instead of being able to drive right through the gate like we can.
It's not terrible, just shoot for like 9am on Saturday to stop and pick it all up.

PROFESSIONAL JUDGING COMES TO CARLISLE
Process Returns with new Streamlined Format
“Quality over quantity” – this saying has been around for decades, and this year the GM Nationals will embrace this approach in our new judging process. Professional judging is back for 2014, but with a change in procedure and approach. We will be limiting the judging spaces to 50 vehicles. Why, you may ask? Well, when we have a more concentrated group of cars, our judges can take the time to thoroughly look them over, provide more constructive feedback, and generally offer you better service and advice. This way, you get the most information possible and learn what you can do to improve your ride. You will also receive a special place on the GM showfield designated just for the judged cars. Unique awards will be presented to the winners within the judged class.
Our team will be composed of several professional builders and experts, all of whom have impressive track records. With the new system, you get the best of both worlds. Whether you want to have your car critiqued and analyzed by a team of judges within an elite group, or have your peers vote on your vehicle, the 2014 GM Nationals offers something for either type of enthusiast. You must be sure to preregister for the optional professional judging process. We will not take any submissions on the day of the event, so act quickly!

Well I believe enough that I will make the event that I went ahead and completed the online registration that Mike recommended. Told the general contractor today I was going to Pa. for the GM Nat's. Now all I have to do is keep his construction schedule and I can go out there and finally meet you all. So I'm going to try and make this happen. Yeah, get a big gulp, a bag of chips and will try to get there in under 36 hours. I really need a Trans Am and a semi for this mad dash!

LOL, that figures, it was a flop, lol. Seems like perhaps the same coordinator Super Chevy uses for their events.
