Michigan MMCC's 4th an. Spring Meet PICS
Damn Dave I don't want on get on your bad side, once a biker always a biker I guess. See you brought the support truck, was that to carry all the beer in? You needed to have at least one a couple sips for the fallen...

I notice you did not take any close ups of the inside of Dave's truck and all the sun flower seed shells, cigarette butts and empty beer cans. That was pretty nice of you...
LOL Dave, you can take it, your a survivor!!Im holding a weee bit of a grudge about the no shows
Actually Greg...
The "support" Truck is the Mrs daily driver.
I do not smoke in it as she quit smoking around 5 yrs ago cold turkey.(Its Never been smoked in) and still has that new car smell.
The truck is actually immaculate inside... For a 2003 with a mere 47,000 miles on it (we bought it with 34,000)..Its still looks, rides and drives like brand new.
A little FYI...
Its fully loaded no rips or tears/wear marks on the interior.with all the creature comforts a 5.3 Headers, Magnaflow exhaust (True duals) Its chipped (Push the tow haul button) a CAI, Shift kit in the trans, and 18's with Michelins on all 4 corners. Its a freak and Fast. Its a Southern Comfort Conversion that went straight from the assembly line to them and has been like that its whole life.
Thanks guys! The dark clouds made for some nice backdrops actually. Kensington Metropark is a really nice setting; we'll plan to do more gatherings there in the future. I decided to get myself a Metroparks annual pass so I'm set for as many Metroparks visits as I want this year.
Devin, I know it's a while out still but hope you guys have a nice, safe drive out here in September.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Fall Meet; some of you before then.

Fall meet means I have to get some more goodies for my ride! GPS or HID retrofit. I can't keep driving out there and have nothing new to talk about or show! I liked seeing everyones rides and getting some new ideas. Matt is going to make me upgrade my headlights at minimum, so clean and not foggy! Mine were really clouded up by the time I made it back to WI drove thru rain pretty much all the way back too!

I made it quite clear to everyone that I would not attend and take the Deuce out in the Rain. I instead was getting the Deuce ready (in my garage) for the Monte Nationals and the car show benefiting the Wounded Warriors program this Saturday and did on-line shopping for a major mod yet to be revealed. Looking at matt's pictures of the weather you had there, I am glad I did not take her out in that. So I hope you are not angry at me also.
Yeah, I didn't want to take my car out in the rain either but I live like 4 hours away so I didn't have that choice. Always next time.

Admittedly, if I new the monsoon I was going to drive in getting home, I would have stayed home. But a little rain does not scare me off. I prefer not to drive in the rain, but it's a car, it gets wet, it's not the end of the world for me.
Tadd, I hope some time soon to meet you and the Lil Deuce Coupe. I think I've now been to 3 Michigan Monte meet and they were all ones you were not able to make
I swear, I showered before I drove out lol!!
All good, hopefully a larger meet in the near future.

Matt and I drove through some pretty heavy rain on the way back down to Ann Arbor. I need a reason to use the windshield wipers at least once a year so the motor doesn't go to crap on me from non-use, baha. Still amazes me that this car's wiper blades are at least 6 years old (probably a few more), I've never replaced them as long as I've owned it, and they still clear the windshield like they're brand new.
