Here's my pictures from our 4th an. Spring Meet on Saturday at Kensington Metropark. Thanks again to those that made it out, especially with the threat of rain! It was great to see some old faces and meet a few new ones as well - seven Montes total made it out (one late show not pictured) during the day plus Dave with his Sierra. We had a pretty decent day even with the threat of Thunderstorms - we toughed out two early rainfalls before noon but the remainder of the Meet was dry with no rain, partly cloudy and warm. Had a nice hot dog and brat lunch.

Are you planning a commute from New York to Michigan for the Fall Meet?

 

LOL Jason... I resemble that remark. I hate to get my car out in the rain, that's why my Monte's new name is Evillene (Wicked Witch of the West).

I need a bubble to envelope it in while I'm driving.

Read where you were caught in some pretty intense storms on your return home, standing water on the freeways and such. Bet that was some pretty white knuckle driving, was your wife with you too? Glad you made it there and back safely. Are those the same wheels you had on at the Nat's last year? They look pretty darn sharp for sure. I think that blue has to be the best overall Monte color they put out. Just classy looking, really rich.


Damn Dave I don't want on get on your bad side, once a biker always a biker I guess. See you brought the support truck, was that to carry all the beer in? You needed to have at least one a couple sips for the fallen...


Nice group of photo's Matt, you did good capturing the moment. Some good looking Monte's there, all battle hardened from the trips from who knows where.

I notice you did not take any close ups of the inside of Dave's truck and all the sun flower seed shells, cigarette butts and empty beer cans. That was pretty nice of you... LOL Dave, you can take it, your a survivor!!

Good job everyone, getting the Monte fever started for the summer.
